➔ Barn Owls: The Secret Saviors of Napa Valley’s Vineyards

Barn owls have long been one of the secrets to Napa Valley’s world-class wines. Rather than relying on chemicals and pesticides, winemakers work with owls—nature’s best pest control—to ensure that the best grapes make it to your wine bottle without rodent interference. Wildlife biologist Carrie Wendt has spent years learning how these majestic nocturnal creatures can have productive, working relationships with winemakers. So the next time you take a sip of that California pinot, take a moment to thank our feathered friends who helped make that glass possible.

➔ The Last Light Before Eternal Darkness – White Dwarfs & Black Dwarfs

Everything will end. Even the universe. But in a future so far away that it defies description, there will still be light and therefore a chance for life. It will be around White Dwarfs, the corpses of stars. But even they will fade one day…

➔ 10+ Pics That Prove Corvids Are The Biggest Baddasses In The Animal Kingdom

Was für abgebrühte Viecher.

Crows are the most badass birds in the animal kingdom who give zero ducks. Want proof? Just take a look at any of the pictures below. Crows (and corvids, the family that includes crows, ravens, rooks and magpies), like to pull the tails of birds and animals who are twice as big as them ‚cause they are not afraid. Some argue that this behavior was developed to snatch food away – but the other theory is that crows simply like to behave like major assholes.

➔ Jimmy Kimmel Reveals Details of His Son’s Birth & Heart Disease

Jimmy and his wife Molly welcomed their second child together, William “Billy” Kimmel. At three days old, Billy had successful open heart surgery at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and is now home with his family. Jimmy opens up about his son’s birth and health complications and encourages donations to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where Billy and so many other kids get such wonderful care… chla.org/donate.

➔ Mr. Vain cover (on my phone)
