Kurzfilm: The Last Hurrah

Was definitiv nicht zu meinen Stärken zählt, ist, über meine Stärken zu reden. Wenn ich aber unbedingt eine benennen müsste, wäre das, dass ich gut „Das kann ich nicht.“ sagen kann.

Und beim heutigen Thema bin ich mir sehr sicher, dass ich das nicht könnte. Dass ich das nicht kann. Ich kann anerkennen, dass das ziemlich großartig ist, sowas hinzukriegen. Aber selbst in die Tat umsetzen? Sehe ich mich nicht tun. (Abgesehen davon, dass ich hoffentlich nie in die Situation kommen werde.)

Aber gut, dass andere das können.

“The Last Hurrah” is based off one of the best days of my life: the final day of my last relationship. When I decided to break up with my ex to move across the country, we agreed to stay together until the day I left town and to make the most of our remaining time together. On the day I moved, we woke up with hours to fill until our upcoming breakup at 11:15pm when I would board my flight. “The Last Hurrah” takes place on that day and celebrates the loving act of letting go.
