Die Adelsexperten, die ARD und ZDF bei irgendwelchen Hochzeiten des europäischen Adels aus dem Permafrost holt, haben sowas sicherlich vollständig auswendig gelernt im Kopf, aber der durchschnittliche Bürger eher nicht.
Hat man dann auch gerade The Crown geguckt (Empfehlung meinerseits, gute Unterhaltung), möchte man vielleicht mal einen Blick auf das verfilzte Geflecht der Verwandschaftsverhältnisse werfen, ohne Bunte und Gala abonnieren zu müssen. Dankenswerterweise hat sich Nadieh Bremer die Mühe gemacht und da mal was vorbereitet.

This genealogy is far from complete, or perfect, probably many more interconnections exist, but this peek into the history of Europe’s royals shows that it’s all one big (happy?) family.
